McConaughey’s Charity Work for Autism Speaks

Recently, actor Matthew McConaughey teamed up with the skincare company Kiehl on a campaign to benefit the organization Autism Speaks, which is centered around a video of the actor speaking
about autism.  Kiehl’s has pledged to donate $1 to Autism Speaks for every ‘share’ the video receives on social media.  Kiehl’s hopes to raise $200,000 with their video, and is also releasing a limited edition of one of their signature skin creams specifically marketed to raise money for Autism Speaks.  McConaughey has worked with his family on many charity efforts, and has started a charity of his own called the Just Keep Livin Foundation, which works to provide high schoolers with after-school programs focused on wellness of body and mind.  The actor says he was first inspired to get involved in charity work after the birth of this son, Levi.
